Joy Osarobo-Obazee
Joy Osarobo-Obazee is an accomplished Early Years educator, educational leader, and an accredited Jolly Phonics Professional Trainer, with over a decade of experience in early childhood education, teacher development, and literacy instruction. Throughout her career, Joy has served in various teaching and leadership roles across reputable schools and has trained hundreds of educators across Nigeria and beyond in the effective implementation of the Jolly Phonics programme. She is passionate about equipping teachers with practical, research-based strategies that foster confident, fluent readers and writers. Her journey with Jolly Phonics began in 2009 while providing one-to-one tuition for a young learner. Captivated by the child's remarkable ability to decode and read unfamiliar words with confidence, she was inspired to explore the methodology further. Since then, she has become a dedicated advocate for systematic synthetic phonics and has witnessed its transformative impact on children's literacy development. Joy has consistently seen learners who previously struggled with reading and writing develop greater fluency, accuracy, confidence, and enthusiasm for literacy through the Jolly Phonics approach. These successes continue to fuel her commitment to improving early literacy.
