# Jolly Phonics Teacher Training **17th August – 22nd August** A comprehensive 6-day practical training programme designed to equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to confidently implement **Jolly Phonics** in the classroom. ### The training includes: * Understanding the **Synthetic Phonics approach** * Teaching all **42 letter sounds** with actions and songs * Correct pronunciation and **letter formation** * **Blending** for reading * **Segmenting** for spelling * Teaching **Tricky Words** * Introduction to **alternative spellings and pronunciations** * Multisensory phonics activities and classroom strategies * Lesson planning and phonics progression * Assessment and monitoring children's progress * Practical demonstrations, activities and teaching practice * Using Jolly Phonics resources effectively * Strategies for supporting children with different learning needs The training is **interactive, practical and classroom-focused**, enabling teachers to confidently teach early reading and spelling using the Jolly Phonics methodology. **Suitable for:** Preschool, kindergarten, primary teachers, English teachers, coordinators, special educators and early-years professionals. **No prior Jolly Phonics experience is required.**
