Mrs Kishani De Fry

I am an educator and professional trainer with over 10 years of experience in training and development. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Teaching, Training and Assessing and have delivered a wide range of professional training programmes to more than 2,000 adults throughout my career. My background as a corporate trainer has equipped me with the skills to engage learners, facilitate effective training, and develop practical learning experiences. As an English Literacy Tutor and Montessori educator, I have worked with children aged 3½ to 19 years, combining child-centred teaching methods with evidence-based literacy instruction. I hold a Diploma in Montessori Education and have successfully trained more than 100 students using the Jolly Phonics method, helping them develop strong reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension skills through a structured synthetic phonics approach. I am passionate about improving English literacy in Sri Lanka by empowering both children and educators with effective teaching practices. I am committed to continuous professional development and believe that high-quality phonics instruction can transform children's confidence and lifelong learning outcomes.
