Gracelyn Achiaa Owusu

Gracelyn is a professional teacher with a Bachelor of Education (Basic) from the university of Education, Winneba, Ghana; a Certified Jolly Phonics Professional Trainer and a Professional English Teacher. From 2014 to September 2023, Gracelyn was the main Jolly Phonics facilitator in the Winneba Municipality. She was being sent across the municipality in circuit basis, to train her colleague teachers. She has a specialisation in teaching literacy, in both English and the Fante languages, using Jolly Phonics. The pupils who sit in her Jolly Phonics lessons exhibit proficiency in reading and writing so have been nicknamed “The Jolly Learners”. Gracelyn’s teaching of Jolly Phonics is not limited to early grade teachers and learners alone, but teachers of all levels, parents and proprietors of schools. As a result, Gracelyn was awarded the Best Teacher for Jolly Phonics in 2015. From October 2023 to date, she's achieving massive results across Kasoa township in the Central Region of Ghana and the whole country at large. She is ever ready to travel in and beyond Ghana for trainings.
