Coral George

Coral George

Coral George is an internationally recognised speaker and *Synthetic Phonics Ambassador* who collaborates with education inspectors, universities, and authorities worldwide. After qualifying as a teacher in Britain, she taught in England and Egypt before joining the Spanish Ministry of Education/British Council Bilingual Project in 1998. While teaching young learners using Jolly Phonics, her students made rapid progress and achieved high literacy standards. A pioneer in her field, Coral was delivering synthetic phonics training years before it became official policy in the UK. Coral George is a TEDx speaker - Madrid Cibeles 2011
