Winnie Pang

Winnie Pang is an experienced and qualified teacher of English as a foreign language, specialising in phonics and early literacy development. She has successfully implemented Jolly Phonics with very young Asian learners, achieving excellent results - her students’ literacy skills progress steadily, and their confidence continues to grow.

Formerly the Phonics Coordinator at the British Council Hong Kong, Winnie played a key role in developing and writing the centre’s popular phonics courses.

She is currently the head trainer of the 'Certificate in Phonics Teaching to Young Learners', a 39-hour professional training course delivered at both the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Macau. From 2017 to 2023, she also provided phonics training to in-service primary school teachers for the Hong Kong Education Bureau.

Passionate about supporting teachers and parents, Winnie is always eager to share her expertise in using Jolly Phonics to build strong reading and writing foundations.
