Stella and Patrick Uzu are passionate educators, literacy advocates, and experienced project managers committed to transforming early childhood education in Nigeria through evidence-based literacy practices, including Jolly Phonics.
Stella holds a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature, a PGD in Education, and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education (SEN). Her expertise includes EYFS, child psychology, inclusive learning, and supporting dyslexic and struggling learners.
Patrick brings extensive experience in human resource management, educational project design, teacher training, and mentoring, and has played a key role in scaling literacy initiatives across multiple regions in Nigeria.
Together, they train educators, mentor peer trainers, and support schools in implementing effective literacy instruction. They have also trained teachers and education leaders internationally, including in South Africa and Namibia.
They partner with governments, NGOs, and schools to improve reading outcomes at scale and are available for training, consultancy, and literacy development projects.
