Roberta Emma Amos-Abanyie is a seasoned professional teacher with extensive classroom and training experience. As a Professionally Certified UK Jolly Phonics Trainer for adults and children, she excels in delivering synthetic phonics programs that transform reading skills.
Her qualifications include a Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), a Project Management certificate from the University of Virginia, a B.Ed. in Home Economics from the University of Education, Winneba, and British Council certificates in “Exploring the World of English Language Teaching and Early Childhood” and “Language Learning and Development.”
Roberta has facilitated Jolly Phonics training in Ghana, Namibia, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. She co-partnered with Dr. Busola Eshiet on the Jolly Buddies Project in Ghana, with results published on the Jolly Learning website. In 2016, she served as Country Director for Universal Learning Solutions’ Catholic Schools Jolly Phonics Project.
She led the Read Easy Ghana Project across 116 districts in government schools, collaborating with Optimal Consulting Ltd., UK, and Jolly Learning Ltd., UK, as literacy consultant for INGITJPF. Roberta also spearheaded the Synthetic Phonics manual for Ghana’s 46 Colleges of Education,
