Preetha Gunasekar

Preetha Gunasekar is an experienced educator, literacy trainer, and storyteller with over 10 years of experience in teaching and teacher training. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Preetha currently serves as the Principal of Vasavi Vidhyalaya Nursery & Primary School, where she focuses on foundational learning, language development, and early childhood education. She previously worked with Helen O’Grady Speech and Drama Programme, gaining valuable experience in speech, drama, storytelling, and confidence-building for children.

Since 2013, Preetha has been dedicated to Jolly Phonics, establishing a studio for after-school phonics classes. She is CPD certified in Jolly Phonics and Grammar, specializing in early literacy and reading fluency. Her passion lies in helping children move from learning to read to reading to learn with confidence and joy.

Preetha is available to conduct phonics training, storytelling sessions, and teacher development workshops across Tamil Nadu.
