Michael Edem Udo is a professional teacher with over twenty-five years of classroom teaching experience in the Primary School sector. Few years ago, he was appointed deputy headteacher by Akwa Ibom State Universal Basic Education Board. He holds a Master's Degree with specialization in Early Childhood Education. He has been teaching with Jolly Phonics for many years, recording tremendous achievement in helping children to gain proficiency in literacy, particularly reading, writing, pronunciation and spelling, very early in life.
Michael has trained many teachers across many states in Nigeria. Currently, he is the Jolly Phonics Teacher Leader under Itu Local Government Area Education Authority, Akwa Ibom State, monitoring and mentoring colleagues across the state. Michael is passionate to share his experience in Jolly Phonics with who ever wills and is available to provide training within and outside Nigeria.
