Janet Kyei

Janet is an Early Years consultant in curriculum development and training and manges her own private school, Janique International School, in Accra. She has almost 20 years of experience with the Cambridge and Oxford curricula and supports teachers in early literacy Skills.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Ghana. Her believe that every child counts, has led her to accept and work with children with diverse special educational needs where she supports them with early literacy development, using the Jolly English and Jolly phonics programmes.
Her passion to support her learners made her take up CPD courses such as, Supporting Children with Reading and Writing Difficulties, Overcoming Dyslexia, and English in Early Childhood: Language Learning and Development via Cousera.
Janet has also played a major role in Jolly Phonics projects in Ghana since 2016, working with Universal Learning Solutions (ULS) and Optimalph Consulting Ltd, UK, to deliver trainings to government school teachers in districts across the country. She was also one of the JP team members who worked with the Universities and Colleges of Education to develop a Synthetic Phonics Student and Coordinators Handbook for the universities and colleges.
